Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated UI/UX Design Intern to join our product and design team. The ideal candidate is passionate about user-centered design and eager to gain hands-on experience in creating intuitive, visually appealing, and functional digital interfaces. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced designers and contribute to real product features.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing user interfaces for mobile and web applications.
- Support the creation of wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user flows using Figma or similar tools.
- Participate in user research activities and gather insights to improve design decisions.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and senior designers to ensure design intent is accurately implemented.
- Prepare and organize design assets, documentation, and component libraries.
- Follow brand guidelines and maintain consistency across all design deliverables.
- Stay informed about emerging UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Basic knowledge of Figma, Adobe XD, or equivalent design tools.
- Understanding of UI/UX principles, visual hierarchy, and usability standards.
- Strong attention to detail with a creative and problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to communicate ideas clearly and work effectively in a team environment.
- A portfolio showcasing academic, personal, or freelance design work.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Design, UI/UX, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Strong willingness to learn, adapt, and take guidance from senior team members.
