The role involves close partnership with senior product managers, tech leaders, and partner teams drive customer-focused innovation impacting millions of customers around the world. You collaborate with designers and researchers to generate innovative ideas and simplify experiences. You are responsible for relentlessly advocating for best-in-class CX. You use design expertise (user interface design, branding, interaction models, prototypes, etc.) to create data-informed design solutions. You generate and synthesize diverse types of data to improve products and features.
Key job responsibilities:
- Work design solutions from early concept through final implementation and iteration.
- Define, develop, and socialize the vision for innovative new solutions.
- Work across multiple organizations to identify overlaps and efficiencies in design and product thinking.
- Use data and customer insights to confidently defend design solutions with senior leaders.
- Promote collaboration and facilitate communication with stakeholders across diverse disciplines and geographies.
- Foster a customer-obsessed design culture by sharing best practices and influencing product strategy.
- Use business requirements and customer research to assist in developing scenarios, use cases, and high-level requirements.
- Use systems-level design thinking to drive design solutions that scale.
- Develop high level and/or detailed storyboards, mock-ups, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
Basic Qualifications:
- 7+ years of industry experience designing customer facing products.
- Have an available online portfolio
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders, development managers, and product leadership.
- Strong verbal communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience designing customer facing retail products
- Proficiency in presenting design work to executive leadership
