About the Program
At Thinknovaa, we're doing things differently. This isn't a traditional job or a standard internship—it's an open collaboration program designed for aspiring UI/UX designers to gain hands-on, real-world experience. If you are self-taught, a student, or transitioning careers, this is a space for you to work on real design projects, build your portfolio, strengthen your design skills, and learn by doing alongside our team.
What You'll Do
Design Real Products: Create user-friendly and visually engaging interfaces for websites, web applications, and digital products.
Create Wireframes: Develop wireframes, user flows, information architecture, and low-fidelity concepts to plan digital experiences.
Design User Interfaces: Create modern, clean, and consistent UI designs with a strong focus on usability and visual hierarchy.
Build Prototypes: Create interactive prototypes to demonstrate user flows, interactions, and product functionality.
Understand Users: Conduct basic user research, analyze user needs, identify pain points, and use insights to improve designs.
Develop Design Systems: Create and maintain reusable components, design patterns, typography, colors, spacing, and other visual guidelines.
Collaborate with Developers: Work closely with frontend and backend developers to ensure designs are practical, responsive, and accurately implemented.
Test & Improve: Collect feedback, identify usability issues, and iterate on designs to create better user experiences.
Who You Are
Passionate about UI/UX design, creativity, and problem-solving, with an eagerness to learn—no specific degree required.
Familiar with basic UI/UX principles, visual hierarchy, typography, color theory, and responsive design.
Comfortable creating wireframes, user flows, mockups, and prototypes.
Familiar with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar platforms.
Bonus points: If you have experience with design systems, usability testing, user research, prototyping, responsive web design, or have previously created UI/UX projects.
Curious, creative, detail-oriented, and comfortable asking questions, receiving feedback, and experimenting with new design ideas.
What You Get
Remote & Flexible: Contribute from anywhere, on a schedule that works for you.
Real Portfolio Projects: Work on practical UI/UX projects that you can showcase to future employers, clients, or design teams.
Direct Mentorship: Get feedback, guidance, and practical learning support from our core team.
Hands-On Experience: Gain exposure to the complete UI/UX design process—from user research and wireframing to interface design, prototyping, testing, and iteration.
Design Tool Experience: Work with modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma and other industry-standard platforms.
Team Collaboration: Learn how designers collaborate with developers, product teams, and other stakeholders throughout the product development process.
Proof of Impact: Receive a certificate of completion and a strong letter of recommendation for active contributors.
