Role Overview
We are seeking a full-time UI/UX Designer to lead the end-to-end design and branding for Rupeestop's fintech products across mobile and web platforms. You will own the visual identity and user experience of our investing platform — translating user goals, behaviors, and risk preferences into clear, accessible, and engaging interfaces.
In this role, you will work closely with product, engineering, and leadership teams to design workflows such as onboarding, KYC-style flows, goal setup, portfolio dashboards, insights, recommendations, and progress tracking while maintaining consistency, accessibility, and a high standard of craft.
Key Responsibilities
- Design intuitive user experiences for mobile apps and web products — from wireframes to high-fidelity UI.
- Own product design across Rupeestop's investing platform from concept to final UI specifications.
- Lead the development and maintenance of Rupeestop's brand identity and visual system, including: Typography, Color systems, Iconography, Illustrations, Motion and interaction guidelines,
- Create user flows, prototypes, and interactive experiences for key product journeys such as:, Onboarding, Goal planning, Portfolio management, Financial insights, Progress tracking
- Build and maintain scalable design systems, component libraries, and style guides ensuring consistency across products and platforms.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, interviews, and lightweight analytics reviews to drive product improvements.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers (Flutter + web) to ensure design feasibility and high-quality implementation.
- Create developer-friendly handoffs using clear specifications, annotations, interaction notes, and asset exports.
- Ensure products meet fintech UX expectations around clarity, trust, transparency, accessibility, and security.
- Continuously iterate on designs based on feedback, analytics, experimentation, and evolving business requirements.
- Contribute to product strategy discussions and bring a design-first perspective into decision-making processes.
- Organize and maintain design documentation, design files, versioning, and workflows.
- Experiment with new design tools, AI-assisted workflows, interactions, and emerging design approaches.
Required Qualifications
- 1–2+ years of practical UI/UX design experience, preferably in fintech, consumer apps, SaaS, or data-heavy products.
- Strong proficiency in Figma, including: Auto-layout, Components, Variants, Design libraries, Prototyping
- Strong understanding of UX principles including: Information architecture, Interaction design, User-centered design, Accessibility and usability
- Excellent visual design skills with a strong eye for: Typography, Color, Layout, Spacing, Hierarchy
- Experience designing responsive and mobile-first interfaces.
- Portfolio showcasing 1–3 strong end-to-end product design projects, including process, problem-solving, and rationale.
- Ability to clearly communicate design decisions and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced startup environments with changing priorities and iterative product cycles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing fintech products such as investing, wealth management, payments, lending, or insurance platforms.
- Familiarity with trust-building and compliance-friendly UX patterns including: Authentication flows, Consent screens, KYC-like experiences, Security-focused interactions
- Understanding of design systems, design tokens, and component-based design at scale.
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and awareness of Flutter/web implementation constraints.
- Experience supporting marketing and branding initiatives such as:, Landing pages, Social media creatives, Brand collateral
- Exposure to motion design, micro-interactions, or illustration design.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted design workflows using tools like ChatGPT, Midjourney, or similar platforms.
