About the Role

Pinkvilla is looking for a user-first, visually sharp UI/UX Designer to create intuitive, engaging, and trend-forward experiences for our app and digital platforms. This role requires someone who understands user behavior, blends aesthetics with functionality, and can design experiences that are both visually compelling and highly usable.

Key Responsibilities

• Design seamless, intuitive, and visually engaging user experiences for mobile apps and web platforms.
• Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
• Translate product requirements and user insights into effective design solutions.
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and content teams to deliver user-centric designs.
• Optimize user journeys to improve engagement, retention, and conversion.
• Ensure consistency across design systems, components, and brand guidelines.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to iterate on designs.
• Stay updated with UI/UX trends, especially within Gen Z products and social-first platforms.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with quick iterations and evolving requirements.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in app-based or consumer internet products.
• Strong portfolio showcasing mobile-first and user-centric design work.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
• Solid understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and usability best practices.
• Strong visual design skills with attention to typography, color, and layout.
• Experience in designing for Gen Z audiences or social media platforms is a strong plus.
• Ability to balance creativity with functionality and business goals.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Good to Have

• Experience with motion design, micro-interactions, or prototyping tools.
• Basic understanding of front-end development (HTML/CSS).
• Familiarity with analytics tools and data-driven design decisions.
