Job Description

Why this role exists

Design is no longer about making things look good. It is about making complex things feel simple.

Neural Network® works with enterprises across the US, Europe, the Middle East, and APAC - helping them navigate Cloud transformation, AI adoption, and intelligent automation. The experiences we build and represent need to match the ambition of that work.

We are not looking for someone who executes briefs and hands off files. We are looking for a designer who thinks end-to-end - from how information is structured to how a decision-maker feels when they land on a page, open a deck, or interact with an AI-powered workflow.

This role spans digital presence, product interfaces, brand design, and AI-native experiences. You will work directly with the founder, shape design decisions from first principles, and own the quality of every visual and interactive surface Neural Network® puts into the world.

If you want to design at the intersection of enterprise technology, intelligent systems, and global brand - this role is built for you.

What you'll actually do

Experience Design & Information Architecture

  • Own the end-to-end design of web experiences, product interfaces, dashboards, and client-facing digital surfaces.
  • Start every project with structure - user journeys, information architecture, and interaction models before any visual work begins.
  • Design for enterprise decision-makers, not general consumers. Understand how CTOs, CIOs, and Heads of Digital scan, evaluate, and act.
  • Translate complex service offerings and technical capabilities into experiences that are clear, credible, and conversion-aware.

UI Design & Visual Craft

  • Build high-fidelity designs in Figma that are production-ready, not presentation-ready.
  • Create and maintain a scalable design system - tokens, components, interaction patterns, accessibility standards, and documentation.
  • Apply motion, micro-interactions, and transitions that add meaning, not decoration.
  • Design with real content from day one. No Lorem Ipsum. No placeholder layouts.

Webflow & Implementation Ownership

  • Implement approved designs directly in Webflow - responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
  • Own the gap between design and live experience. What ships must match what was designed.
  • Work with developers where needed and hold the bar on implementation quality throughout.

AI-Native Design Thinking

  • Design interfaces for AI-powered products - recommendations, copilots, automation workflows, confidence indicators, and intelligent dashboards.
  • Build trust, transparency, and human oversight into AI interactions. Design for edge cases and failure states, not just the happy path.
  • Use AI tools actively in your own workflow - for ideation, prototyping, design ops, documentation, and research synthesis.
  • Stay ahead of how AI is changing interaction design, interface paradigms, and user expectations.

Conversion & Business Design

  • Design with commercial outcomes in mind - credibility, trust, engagement, conversion, and pipeline generation.
  • Understand how enterprise buyers evaluate service providers, technology partners, and digital experiences.
  • Create experiences that help users make decisions, not just consume information.
  • Balance user needs with business objectives and measurable outcomes.

Content & Brand Design

  • Design capability decks, case study documents, proposal templates, and event collateral that represent the brand at its best.
  • Ensure visual consistency across every surface - website, social, presentations, and client communications.
  • Collaborate with the UX Copywriter so design and copy are built together, not assembled after the fact.

Research & Iteration

  • Conduct or facilitate user research, stakeholder interviews, and usability reviews to validate design decisions.
  • Build prototypes that test thinking, not just communicate it.
  • Measure outcomes through engagement, conversion, and usability signals - not just design approval.
Who you are
  • 5–8 years of Product Design, UX Design, Service Design, or Digital Experience Design experience.
  • Figma is where you live. Design systems, auto layout, variables, components, and prototyping - all of it, without shortcuts.
  • You can explain the business rationale behind every major design decision. Visual taste alone is not enough.
  • You have shipped in Webflow. Live links in your portfolio. Not concepts. Not handoffs.
  • You understand information architecture and user psychology before you open a design tool.
  • You have designed for enterprise or B2B audiences - SaaS platforms, consulting firms, technology companies, or enterprise products.
  • You are actively using AI in your design workflow - not experimenting with it occasionally.
  • You have designed or have strong opinions about AI-native interactions - copilots, intelligent assistants, recommendation systems, or agentic workflows.
  • You write well enough to communicate design rationale clearly to non-designers.
  • You push back when something is wrong and you bring a better idea, not just an objection.
  • Consumer-only portfolios - e-commerce, lifestyle apps, social platforms with no enterprise or product work - will not be progressed.

TOOLS & SKILLS THAT MATTER

  • Figma - expert level, including variables, design tokens, and advanced prototyping
  • Webflow - live implementation, not just design handoff
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI-assisted design workflows for research, ideation, prototyping, content structuring, and design operations
  • Motion & interaction - Figma Smart Animate, Rive, Jitter, or Lottie
  • Design systems - token architecture, component documentation, accessibility (WCAG AA minimum)
  • Research & testing - Maze, Useberry, Hotjar, or equivalent
  • Workflow AI - Claude, ChatGPT, or similar for research synthesis, documentation, and content briefing
  • Basic understanding of HTML and CSS - enough to have an honest conversation with a developer
What you will gain
  • Direct access to the founder - your design decisions will be visible at the highest-stakes moments.
  • Creative ownership of a brand being built for global enterprise markets from Pune.
  • Experience designing across Cloud, AI, Data, and Robotics for international audiences in the Middle East, Europe, and North America.
  • A portfolio that goes beyond screens - into how intelligent enterprise experiences are shaped and shipped.
  • The opportunity to set design standards for an organisation that is still early enough for your work to define them.
