About The Role
We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team at Intangible. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing visually appealing, highly usable products across mobile (iOS and Android) platforms as well as web interfaces. You will work closely with product managers and engineering teams to translate ideas into intuitive user flows, cohesive visual systems, and production-ready designs. Your work will directly influence the user experience for students, educators, and employers, ensuring that our platform remains engaging, accessible, and efficient. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the design language of a fast-growing platform that aims to impact millions of users across multiple regions.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in UI/UX or product design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating work on both mobile and web applications. Proficiency in Figma is essential, including expertise in auto-layout, variants, components, and design systems. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, or After Effects is required, depending on your strengths. Familiarity with AI-powered design tools like Midjourney, Firefly, Runway, or Galileo to enhance productivity and creativity is highly desirable. Candidates should have solid fundamentals in layout, typography, visual hierarchy, interaction design, and usability principles. The ability to clearly articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively within a fast-paced environment is crucial. Prior experience in designing for consumer apps, understanding accessibility standards, and working closely with developers for smooth handoffs will be considered a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design comprehensive user experiences for both mobile and web platforms, from conceptualization through final UI implementation.
- Create detailed user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity screens, and interactive prototypes that effectively communicate design intent.
- Develop and maintain a scalable design system, including components, tokens, typography, and spacing guidelines to ensure consistency across products.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs, providing necessary assets, specifications, and documentation.
- Leverage AI design tools to accelerate ideation, generate variations, craft copy suggestions, and produce assets without compromising on quality.
- Iterate on designs rapidly based on user feedback, data analytics, and evolving product priorities, maintaining a user-centric approach throughout.
- Participate in design reviews, contribute to team brainstorming sessions, and advocate for best practices in UI/UX design.
