About The Role
We are currently seeking a skilled UI/UX Designer to join our team on a part-time, remote basis. The ideal candidate will support a UK-based client focused on enhancing their website experience and performance. This role is perfect for professionals with 23 years of experience in eCommerce or D2C website design, who are passionate about creating intuitive and engaging digital experiences. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with marketing and development teams to craft user-centered designs that drive conversions and improve overall user satisfaction. Flexibility in working hours is appreciated, with scheduled timings from 3 PM to 7 PM IST, accommodating team meetings and project needs.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 23 years of hands-on UI/UX experience, particularly in eCommerce or D2C platforms, is essential. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch is required to effectively translate ideas into visual prototypes. Experience with Shopify or similar eCommerce platforms is preferred, along with a solid understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO) and user behavior analytics. Knowledge of healthcare, dental, or wellness sectors is a plus, providing additional context for designing user-centric solutions in specialized industries. The candidate should demonstrate strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and possess a compelling portfolio showcasing website designs, wireframes, and prototypes that reflect their expertise and creative capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Design wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity prototypes for website pages and features, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Enhance UX across critical website sections such as the homepage, product pages, checkout process, and subscription flows to increase engagement and conversions.
- Collaborate with marketing and development teams to implement design improvements that are conversion-focused and aligned with business goals.
- Identify friction points within user journeys through data analysis and user feedback, then propose effective, data-driven solutions to address these issues.
- Conduct UX audits and usability testing to assess website performance and identify areas for enhancement.
- Maintain consistency in design language across all digital touchpoints to ensure brand coherence and user familiarity.
- Work closely with developers to facilitate the smooth implementation of designs, ensuring fidelity to the original concepts.
- Support the creation and optimization of landing pages for marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
- Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve the quality of deliverables.
