Freelance UI/UX Designer
We are looking for a freelance UI/UX Designer to lead the design of our proprietary internal management system. This role is critical in streamlining the workflow between our editors, customer support executives, and project managers. You will be responsible for transforming complex operational data into an intuitive, high-efficiency interface that minimizes cognitive load and maximizes throughput.
Key Responsibilities
- User Research & Discovery: Interview internal stakeholders (Editors, Ops Managers) to map out existing workflows and identify pain points in the current proofreading lifecycle.
- Information Architecture: Design a robust navigation system for a data-heavy dashboard, ensuring critical project metrics and document statuses are accessible at a glance.
- Prototyping: Create high-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes (Figma/Adobe XD) to validate features before they move to development.
- Design System Management: Build and maintain a scalable UI library that ensures visual consistency across various internal tools.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering team to ensure design feasibility and oversee the pixel-perfect implementation of your designs.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience: 3+ years in UI/UX design, specifically focusing on SaaS or internal enterprise dashboards.
Tooling: Mastery of
Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.
Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of HTML/CSS constraints to ensure designs are developer-friendly.
Soft Skills: Ability to translate complex operational asks into clean, minimalist visual solutions.
Portfolio: Must demonstrate experience with data visualization, complex tables, and multi-step workflows.
