Job Description

The UI Designer will be responsible for creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces that enhance the user experience across web and mobile applications. This role involves working closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to design user-centric solutions that align with business objectives. The ideal candidate should have a strong portfolio showcasing their expertise in UX/UI design, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for creating seamless and engaging user experiences.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop user interfaces for web and mobile applications that are intuitive, visually appealing, and user-friendly.
  • Conduct user research, create user personas, and define user flows to inform design decisions.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into user-centered designs.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to visualize design concepts and iterate based on feedback.
  • Ensure consistency in design across all platforms by adhering to design guidelines and best practices.
  • Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to refine and improve designs.
  • Stay updated on the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, and apply them to enhance the user experience.
  • Communicate design ideas and concepts effectively to team members and stakeholders.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure that designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Graphic Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing web and mobile design projects.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
  • Experience with creating wireframes, prototypes, and mockups.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus, but not required.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple design projects in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
  • Familiarity with usability testing and user research methodologies.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and how to design for inclusivity.
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum development processes.
  • Strong visual design skills with a keen sense of typography, color, and layout.

Work Environment:

  • Occasional additional hours may be required for maintenance or deployment windows.
