Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with marketing/business team, developers, clients and stakeholders to understand product goals, business and user needs.
- Conduct user research and gather feedback to inform design decisions and iterate on designs.
- Assist Design Team in facilitating workshops, user research sessions and interviews as part of user research practice.
- Develop wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts and solutions.
- Define and organize information architecture, navigation structures, and user flows to optimize user journey.
- Prepare and maintain design documentation, including design specifications, style guides, and design rationale.
- Create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that align with brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with design and development teams to ensure successful implementation of designs.
- Prepare and deliver design presentations to clients and stakeholders.
Requirement:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in any Design related field (e.g. Graphic, Architecture, Communication, etc.) or IT related field (Computer Science, Software Engineering, etc.) with proven expertise in UI/UX or Product Design, as evidenced by portfolio.
- Portfolio: Provide comprehensive portfolio showcasing your previous design projects and experiences.
- Experience: 2-5 years working experience in related IT field.
- UI/UX Design Skills: Understanding of user experience (UX) principles and approach to come up with products that are not only visually appealing but also intuitive and user-friendly.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to dissect complex processes/systems, identify key issues and provide effective solutions. Adaptability to handle challenges, changing circumstances and new information.
- Visual Design Proficiency: Proficiency in visual design principles, including typography, color theory, layout, and iconography. Ability to create aesthetically pleasing and cohesive user interfaces.
- Design Tools: Proficiency in prototyping, white-boarding and design tools; basic skills in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite is required.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with team members and stakeholders. Strong presentation skills to facilitate workshops and deliver design concepts to diverse audiences.
