JD UI/UX Designer Apprentice
We have an apprenticeship opportunity for a UI/UX Designer Apprentice. A successful apprenticeship can lead to certification and a full-time offer.
Required Experience: 06 Months

Location: Arekere/Bannerghatta Road.
Stipend: 10,000 (Fixed)

Position Summary
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer Apprentice who is passionate about solving real user problems through effective research, thoughtful user flows, and clean, modern visual design. Under mentorship from senior designers, you will gain hands-on experience supporting the design of web and mobile interfaces using Figma as the primary tool, building toward professional proficiency.
Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Design, UI/UX, Interaction Design, Communication/Graphic Design, or a related field (or currently pursuing).
- Strong understanding of UX research, user flows, personas, and problem-solving.
- Ability to create wireframes, user journeys, site maps, and high-fidelity UI designs.
- Good visual design skills with attention to alignment, spacing, typography, and hierarchy.
- Strong experience with Figma (mandatory) components, auto-layout, prototyping, design systems.
- Ability to create and work with design systems and maintain consistency.
- Curious, detail-oriented, and passionate about latest UI/UX trends and best practices.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Good to Have:
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects).
- Knowledge of other prototyping or design tools (Miro, Sketch, XD, etc.).
- Basic understanding of how designs translate into development (HTML/CSS/JS knowledge is a plus.
- Prior project experience or a portfolio showcasing design thinking and clean UI work.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct UX research, competitor analysis, and gather user insights to understand problems and opportunities.
- Create user flows, personas, journey maps, and site maps for new features and products.
- Design wireframes, low-fidelity prototypes, and high-fidelity UI screens in Figma.
- Build and maintain design systems, reusable components, and style guides.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand requirements and convert them into design solutions.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions, design reviews, and feedback meetings.
- Conduct or support usability testing and iterate on designs based on user insights.
- Ensure all design files, versions, and documentation are maintained and organized.
- Stay updated on emerging UI/UX trends, patterns, and tools.
