UI/UX Design Online Instructor - Remote Job

This is a remote position.

We are looking for creative and passionate UI/UX Design Tutors who can teach beginners the fundamentals of user interface and user experience design.

The tutor should be able to explain design principles, prototyping, and usability in a simple, interactive, and visual way using design tools.

The goal is to help learners understand how great digital products are designed from wireframes to final user-friendly interfaces.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct live online classes to teach design fundamentals, layout, and prototyping.

• Introduce students to design tools like Figma, Canva, or Adobe XD (basic to intermediate level).

• Explain color theory, typography, user flow, and design thinking through examples.

• Provide hands-on practice tasks and creative design challenges.

• Share class summaries and give design assignments or short projects.

• Review learner work and share constructive feedback.

Requirements

Essential Skills

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
  

• Hands-on experience using Figma or Canva (Adobe XD optional).

• Ability to teach design composition, alignment, balance, and usability.

• Clear communication and ability to explain visual concepts simply.

• Strong internet connection, webcam, and quiet environment for online classes.

Good to Have (Optional)

• Experience creating wireframes or mockups for mobile/web apps.

• Awareness of design systems, accessibility, and user journey mapping.
  

• Experience in freelance design, portfolio creation, or mentorship.
  

• Prior teaching, coaching, or mentoring experience (preferred).

Qualification

• Graduate in any field (Design, Computer Science, or related preferred).

• Certification in UI/UX Design (preferred but not mandatory).

Technical Requirements

• Stable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, professional home studio setup.

• Good quality microphone/headset and webcam for clear audio and video.

• Familiarity with Zoom and other online teaching platforms.

• Ability to use virtual whiteboards, share notations, and integrate digital teaching aids effectively.
