UI Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for skilled UI Engineers with strong expertise in React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with experience in eCommerce platforms to support the development and enhancement of modern, responsive web applications. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building intuitive user interfaces, ensuring cross-browser compatibility, and delivering high-quality front-end experiences aligned with business and user needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly web interfaces using React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Work on UI customization and enhancements within eCommerce platforms.
• Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into clean, efficient, and reusable code.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Collaborate closely with UX designers, backend engineers, and product teams.
• Troubleshoot and debug UI issues across devices and platforms.
• Follow best practices for code quality, accessibility, and performance optimization.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to front-end development standards.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience working with eCommerce platforms/CMS Tools.
• Experience building responsive layouts using Flexbox and Grid.
• Experience working with React.js
• Familiarity with browser developer tools and debugging techniques.
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility and responsive design principles.
• Basic knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
• Experience working with Pug/Pug.js-HTML Template and SCSS.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with CSS preprocessors such as Sass or Less.
• Knowledge of UI performance optimization techniques.
• Experience integrating frontend with REST APIs.
• Understanding of accessibility (WCAG) and UI best practices.
• Experience with other eCommerce platforms such as SAP Commerce (Hybris), Magento, or Shopify.
