Role Description
- We are looking for aSenior Full‑Stack Engineerto join ourSingle Sign On (SSO) Services Engineeringteam in Pune. This role combinesstrong backend engineering expertisewithmodern UI development skillsandadvanced production support and domain ownership.
- You will work onhighly scalable, security‑critical identity and access management platforms, building and maintaining bothbackend services and frontend/admin user interfacesthat support enterprise authentication and federated identity use cases.
- In addition to hands‑on full‑stack development, you will act as asenior technical escalation pointandSubject Matter Expert (SME)for critical components of the SSO ecosystem-driving reliability, usability, and operational excellence across the platform.
- This is ahands‑on engineering rolerequiring deep backend expertise, solid UI engineering experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and a proactive mindset towards improving system resilience and user experience.

Your key responsibilities
Full‑Stack Engineering
- Design, develop, and maintainrobust backend servicessupporting large‑scale SSO and identity platforms
- Design and buildresponsive, user‑friendly web interfaces(admin consoles, dashboards, configuration UIs) for identity and authentication services
- Develop and maintainREST / API integrationsconsumed by frontend applications
- Ensure seamless integration betweenfrontend, backend services, and authentication flows
Production Support & Domain Ownership
- Lead investigation and resolution ofcomplex production incidents, ensuring rapid recovery and minimal business impact
- Perform deep technical analysis andRoot Cause Analysis (RCA)and drive long‑term corrective actions
- Act as atechnical escalation point (SL3)for SL1 and SL2 support teams
- Debug and resolve complex issues acrossUI, APIs, backend services, and distributed systems
Identity & Security
- Work extensively withauthentication and federation flows(OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML)
- Ensure frontend and backend implementations adhere tosecurity, compliance, and audit requirements
- Collaborate with security and IAM stakeholders on platform hardening and secure design
Collaboration & Operations
- Collaborate closely withEngineering, DevOps, UX, and Product teams
- Analyse logs, metrics, and traces usingobservability platforms(Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, etc.)
- Support release activities and validateproduction readinessof new features
- Maintain and enhancerunbooks, knowledge articles, and operational documentation
- Contribute toautomation, tooling, and monitoring improvementsto reduce operational overhead
Your skills and experience
Backend & Platform
- Strong hands‑on experience inbackend development using Java(Python or similar languages is an advantage)
- Proven experience supportingdistributed, high‑availability systems in production
- Solid understanding ofcloud platforms(AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Hands‑on experience withKubernetes, Docker, and containerised workloads
- StrongLinux fundamentalswith shell scripting (Bash) and system‑level debugging skills
Frontend / UI
- Hands‑on experience inUI developmentusing modern frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, or similar)
- Strong knowledge ofHTML, CSS, JavaScript / TypeScript
- Experience buildingsecure, enterprise‑grade web UIsconsuming backend APIs
- Understanding ofUI performance, accessibility, and usabilityconsiderations
Operations & Observability
- Experience withmonitoring, logging, and observabilitytools (Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK, etc.)
- Excellent analytical andproblem‑solving skills, especially under production pressure
General
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate acrossglobal teams
- Bachelor's or Master's degree inComputer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Fluent inEnglish
Good to Have (SME / Domain Experience)
- Prior experience acting as aSubject Matter Expert (SME)for critical platforms or services
- Deep functional knowledge ofIdentity & Access Management (IAM) / SSO domains
- Hands‑on experience withPingAM, PingIDM, PingDS, Keycloak, or similar IAM products
- Strong practical experience withOAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SAMLin enterprise environments
- Experience leadingpost‑incident reviews, operational improvement initiatives, and platform hardening
- Exposure tosecurity reviews, audits, and regulatory complianceprocesses
