We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented UI Developer to join our Technology team in Mumbai and contribute to creating seamless, efficient, and engaging user interfaces for a diverse global audience.
Role Overview
The UI Developer will translate high-quality UI/UX designs into interactive, responsive, and performance-optimized front-end experiences. You will play a key role in bridging the gap between design and technology to deliver interfaces that enhance usability, consistency, and customer satisfaction.
Core Responsibilities
- Convert UI/UX design prototypes and visual guidelines into pixel-perfect, responsive, and dynamic user interface components.
- Develop and maintain reusable UI components that align with Aertrips evolving design system and platform architecture.
- Ensure high-quality rendering, usability, and cross-browser compatibility across devices, screen sizes, and network conditions.
- Collaborate closely with designers, backend developers, and QA teams to deliver features on time with a strong focus on user experience.
- Optimize interfaces for performance, accessibility, and SEO best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve UI defects, layout inconsistencies, and performance bottlenecks.
- Implement clean, modular, and maintainable front-end code while ensuring proper separation of concerns.
- Build responsive HTML/CSS components and contribute to JavaScript-based UI interactions.
- Work with front-end libraries/frameworks (e.g., React) to implement interactive features when required.
- Assist in creating responsive HTML email templates for marketing and transactional workflows.
Essential Qualifications & Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive UI development principles.
- Hands-on experience converting detailed design files (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch) into production-ready interfaces.
- Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks/libraries such as React, Vue, or Angular.
- Expertise with CSS architectures and pre-processors like Sass or LESS.
- Good understanding of cross-browser compatibility, mobile-first design, and UI/UX best practices.
- Version control experience with Git.
- Knowledge of web performance optimization, including rendering performance and asset loading techniques.
- Understanding of accessibility, semantic HTML, and SEO-friendly UI principles.
- Ability to debug and troubleshoot UI issues across devices and environments.
- Exposure to modern AI tools that improve development productivity is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building component-based design systems.
- Basic understanding of API integrations and working with backend teams.
- Experience in high-traffic or enterprise-scale platforms.
