UFT Automation Tester

We are seeking an experienced UFT Automation Tester to join our dynamic team

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using UFT (Unified Functional Testing) to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios and test cases
• Develop and maintain robust, reusable, and scalable UFT automation scripts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex issues
• Perform end-to-end testing, integration testing, and regression testing using UFT
• Continuously improve the automation framework and implement best practices
• Provide detailed reports and documentation on the test execution and results
• Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions
• Mentor and train junior team members on UFT best practices

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in UFT automation
• Proficient in writing automation scripts using UFT (Unified Functional Testing)
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies
• Familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts and scripting languages (e g, VBScript, JavaScript)
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex issues and provide effective solutions
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Experience in working with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
