Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Turner. The Turner will be responsible for operating and setting up various turning machines, ensuring quality workmanship, maintaining equipment, and adhering to safety regulations and company policies. The Turner will primarily work with metal, but may also work with other materials.
Qualifications
- Experience in operating and setting up turning machines, preferably in the manufacturing industry
- Knowledge of various turning machine tools, such as lathes and mills
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Experience with precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers and gauges
- Understanding of safety regulations and policies
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues with machines and equipment
- Experience with CAD/CAM software is a plus
