As an Associate Trust Support Specialist within the US Trust Services team, you assist with fiduciary administration and account management for US clients. You execute account openings, maintain financial databases, and support payment and party maintenance requests. You play a key role in stakeholder reporting, mentoring junior professionals, and ensuring high standards of client service.
Job Responsibilities:
- Execute instructions for opening and maintaining internal and external bank and investment accounts.
- Prepare subscription and redemption requests for private equity and similar arrangements.
- Update and maintain databases related to financial transactions, tax, valuations, and trust party data.
- Prepare and dispatch introductory packages to relevant trust parties.
- Process payment and party maintenance requests for US Trust clients.
- Draft letters and instructions for credit requests, terminations, and routine transactions.
- Lead stakeholder reporting and provide status updates for support activities.
- Coach and mentor junior professionals within the team.
- Liaise with internal and external partners to resolve queries and support client needs.
- Apply problem-solving and risk management skills to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Develop relationships with colleagues in India and the Global Trusts & Estates Practice.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Demonstrate a minimum of 6 years experience in the financial services industry.
- Possess a graduate degree
- Exhibit understanding of legal, tax, and financial concepts related to trust administration.
- Communicate effectively with strong written and verbal skills.
- Manage relationships with internal and external partners.
- Lead and mentor junior team members.
- Analyze problems critically and exercise sound judgment in risk management.
