Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Service Delivery Packet Core PCRF/PCF Engineer with a strong background in Telecom Packet Core technologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in PCRF, PCF (CCPC), and 4G/5G network functions, along with proven experience in operational support, integration, upgrades, and solution design. This role demands hands-on technical depth, strong understanding of telecom call flows, and the ability to manage complex packet core environments within a 247 support model.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design, Integration & Delivery :
- Prepare High-Level Design (HLD) and Detailed-Level Design (DLD) documents for PCRF/PCF solutions based on customer requirements.
- Perform integration, upgrade, and configuration of CCPC and PCRF (SAPC) nodes.
- Lead solution design and end-to-end integration of Packet Core network nodes, including:
- SGSN / MME / AMF
- GGSN / EPG / SMF / PCC / PCG
- PCRF / SAPC / CCPC / PCF
- ePDG / WMG
- NRF / NSSF / Signaling Controller
- 5G NSA / 5G SA Core
Operational Support
- Provide expert-level support in a 247 operational environment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining Packet Core nodes.
- Support deployment activities, node health checks, performance tuning, and end-to-end network validation.
- Ensure integration alignment across multi-vendor and cloud-native environments.
Telecom Call Flow & Domain Expertise
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of 4G and 5G call flows, including:
- URSP
- PRA
- Location services
- EPS fallback
- VoNR (Voice over New Radio)
- Strong domain understanding across 5G Network Functions such as AMF, SMF, UPF, PCF (CCPC), and NRF.
Architecture & API Expertise
- Strong understanding of CCPC architecture, including:
- Service mesh
- Geo-redundancy modes
- Policy design (business logic)
- REST APIs
- Expertise in interactions between SAPC/CCPC and AF, AMF, SMF, CHF, including communication via SCP (direct & indirect).
Cloud, Virtualization & Orchestration
- Expertise or strong working knowledge of :
- RHOSP / CEE
- Kubernetes / ECCD
- Infrastructure layers on BSP / Dell / HP / HDS
- Hands-on experience with orchestrators such as:
- ATLAS
- ECM
- SDI
- OMC
- EVNFM
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 10 years of Telecom experience in PCRF (SAPC) domain.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in PCF (CCPC).
- At least 5 years of experience in 247 operational support roles.
- Strong end-to-end understanding of 4G/5G Packet Core solutions and cloud-native core networks.
- Hands-on expertise in integration and upgrade of Packet Core nodes.
- In-depth technical knowledge of Packet Core components, 5G architecture, and modern telecom technologies.

- Expertise in PCRF/PCF, 5G NSA/SA Packet Core, SGSNMME, EPG, SAPC, ePDG/WMG, PCF (CCPC), PCC (AMF & SMF), PCG (UPF), and Packet Core node integration.
