Description
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to transport goods efficiently across various routes in India.
Responsibilities
- Transport goods and materials to designated locations safely and on time.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate logs of hours worked, miles driven, and other required documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and routes.
Skills and Qualifications
- Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) driving license.
- Proven experience as a truck driver (1-10 years preferred).
- Knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws in India.
- Ability to operate a truck and handle heavy loads safely and efficiently.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Basic mechanical skills to perform minor repairs and maintenance on the vehicle.
UAE Driving licence required (Category 4)
