Job Description: Tricentis Live Compare SME
Role Overview
This is Contract to Hire position and Tricentis Live Compare SME is responsible for implementing, configuring, and optimizing AI-driven impact analysis and risk-based testing within SAP landscapes using Tricentis LiveCompare. This role ensures efficient regression testing, reduced testing effort, and improved release quality by identifying impacted business processes and prioritizing test scope.
Key Responsibilities
1. LiveCompare Implementation & Administration
- Install, configure, and customize Tricentis LiveCompare across SAP environments
- Define architecture, integration, and deployment strategies
- Maintain and support LiveCompare environments and upgrades
2. Impact Analysis & Risk-Based Testing
- Analyze SAP transports, custom code, and configuration changes
- Identify impacted business processes and recommend test scope
- Enable risk-based regression testing to reduce unnecessary test execution
- Optimize testing cycles by focusing on high-risk areas
3. Test Optimization & Automation Integration
- Integrate LiveCompare with:
- Tricentis Tosca (automation)
- SAP Solution Manager / ChaRM
- CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
- Support automated test case selection based on impact analysis
- Improve regression efficiency and reduce testing effort significantly
4. SAP Landscape Analysis
- Work across SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, Fiori, etc.)
- Analyze usage data, business transactions, and dependencies
- Support release management and change governance
5. Reporting & Insights
- Generate dashboards and reports for:
- Test coverage
- Risk analysis
- Impacted objects and processes
- Provide insights to stakeholders for decision-making
6. Governance & Best Practices
- Define testing standards, frameworks, and governance models
- Establish best practices for LiveCompare adoption
- Drive continuous improvement in QA processes
7. Stakeholder Management & Leadership
- Collaborate with:
- QA teams
- SAP functional and technical teams
- DevOps and release management teams
- Provide SME guidance, mentoring, and training
- Act as a trusted advisor for testing strategy
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in Tricentis LiveCompare (mandatory)
- Hands-on experience with:
- Tricentis Tosca
- SAP landscapes (ECC / S4 / BW / Fiori)
- Experience in:
- Impact analysis
- Risk-based testing
- Regression test optimization
- Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps integration
SAP Knowledge
- Understanding of:
- SAP transports and change management
- Custom code and configuration analysis
- Business process flows in SAP
Experience
- 10–12+ years of overall IT experience
- 4–6+ years specifically in LiveCompare or similar tools
Preferred Skills
- Experience with:
- SAP Solution Manager / ChaRM
- Test data management
