About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Tricentis Automation Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Tosca automation, API testing, and end-to-end test automation frameworks. The ideal candidate should have solid technical knowledge, strong analytical ability, and experience working in Agile environments.
Key Responsibilities
Automation Development
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Tricentis Tosca.
- Build reusable automation modules and maintain existing automation assets.
- Automate web, API, mobile, and SAP applications as required.
Test Planning & Execution
- Analyze functional and technical requirements and convert them into test scenarios and automation scripts.
- Execute test cases, validate results, and document defects.
- Perform regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end testing using Tosca.
Framework & Optimization
- Enhance and optimize Tosca automation framework for better modularity and performance.
- Integrate Tosca solutions with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab).
- Work with Test Data Management and Test Case Design features of Tosca.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with developers, BAs, and QA teams to identify gaps and resolve issues.
- Provide detailed test reports, automation metrics, and daily execution summaries.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, refinements, and retrospectives.
Required Skills
Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience (57 yrs) in Tricentis Tosca automation.
- Expertise in:
- Tosca Modules, TestCase Design, Execution Lists
- API Testing (Tosca API Scan)
- Web and Mobile automation
- TDM (Test Data Management)
- Vision AI (added advantage)
- Knowledge of CI/CD integration with Tosca Commander / Tosca Execution.
- Familiarity with SQL, XML, JSON, and defect management tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps).
- Optional but preferred:
- Scripting knowledge: Python, Java, VBScript
- Experience with SAP automation
Soft Skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Good problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced Agile teams.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Good to Have
- Tricentis Tosca Certification (AS1, AS2, TQL, API Testing).
- Exposure to cloud-based applications.
