Understand the current technology environment and support methodologies including various stakeholders distributed globally in several regions
Understand the existing security controls tools (including Endpoint Detection Response, anti-malware and incident response)
Collaborate with business and internal teams to assess their security needs and design customized Trend Micro Stellar Protect solutions to meet those requirements
Update and deploy policies and tasks required for migration and operations, in alignment with the existing security controls
Understand migration flow and tasks that will be used to migrate devices to TM stellar Protect
Execute the migration workflow of McAfee Application control solution to Trend microMonitor status of migration tasks and report and fix failures, together with implementation and architecture teams
Leverage native OS tools (like Top, LsOF, Netstat, VMstat, iotop, iostat and more) to monitor, triage, isolate and troubleshoot issues
Leverage OS tools (like sysinternals, WPA and more) to monitor, triage, isolate and troubleshoot issues
Explain the issue in a simple and understandable manner to stakeholders (including end-user, operations manager, desktop support technicians, desktop architects)
Document process flows and procedures as required in a simple and easy-to-follow fashion Send weekly status report to supervisors
Experience in at least two Application control implementation projects with mandatory experience in onboarding workstreams.
Proven experience (3+ years) as a Trend Micro Stellar Protect Engineer
At least 6 years of experience in L2/L3 support and understanding of common corporate IT issues
Deep knowledge of OS internals for Windows OS
Deep knowledge of networking concept (routing, switching, proxy, firewall)
Deep knowledge of Windows tools like Sysinternal utilities and Windows Performance Analyzer and hands-on experience applying it to monitor and troubleshoot issues
Proficient in the usage of TrendMicro APIs
At least 1 year of experience in McAfee ePO console operations
Experience in Mcafee application control
Experience in migration from McAfee App control to TM stellarProtect
