Treasury Manager

Key Purpose of the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Banking Operations Manager to manage and oversee daily banking transactions, compliance, and financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient handling of banking processes, maintaining relationships with financial institutions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

What Key Tasks will be involved

Banking Operations Management:

a. Handle daily banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, fund transfers, and reconciliations.

b. Monitor and manage bank accounts, ensuring sufficient balances for operational needs.

c. Process and verify payments, including NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, SWIFT, and online banking transactions.

d. Manage cheque clearances, DD issuances, and cash handling procedures.

Treasury & Fund Management:

a. Cash flow management, fund allocation, and forecasting.

b. Optimise banking processes to reduce operational costs and improve efficiency.

c. Coordinate with financial institutions for loans, credit facilities, and interest rate negotiations.

Relationship Management with Banks & Financial Institutions:

a. Serve as the primary point of contact for banking partners.

b. Liaise with banks for account-related queries, forex transactions, and trade finance services.

c. Assist in securing bank guarantees, letter of credit (LC) issuance, and other financial instruments.

Reporting & Documentation:

a. Prepare regular reports on banking transactions, fund status, and reconciliation statements.

b. Maintain accurate records of banking activities and ensure proper documentation of transactions.

c. Support internal and external audits related to banking operations.
