We are seeking a Treasury Accountant to join our expanding Group Treasury team during a period of significant transformation. You will be responsible for the accounting treatment of treasury activities including our In-House Bank, FX hedging program, and derivative instruments. This role is critical to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with IFRS standards as we centralize treasury operations across 40+ countries.

What you'll be doing:

In-House Bank Accounting

  • Process daily intercompany lending/borrowing transactions and interest calculations
  • Maintain intercompany balance reconciliations across 28+ entities
  • Prepare monthly IHB P&L and balance sheet reporting
  • Support cost allocation methodology implementation
  • Ensure accurate D365 integration and journal entry processing

FX & Derivatives Accounting

  • Execute hedge accounting under IFRS 9 for cash flow hedges
  • Process fair value hedge accounting for fair value hedges
  • Maintain hedge effectiveness testing and documentation
  • Prepare monthly hedge reserve movements and OCI reconciliations
  • Support external audit requirements for derivative valuations

Financial Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare monthly treasury MI including cash positions and facility utilization
  • Support quarterly covenant compliance reporting to JPMorgan/Citi
  • Maintain IFRS 7 financial instrument disclosures
  • Assist with transfer pricing documentation and arm's length compliance
  • Support EMIR/Dodd-Frank derivative reporting requirements

Systems & Process Improvement

  • Support the TMS implementation and parallel running
  • Maintain current IHB module accounting interfaces
  • Develop automated reconciliation processes
  • Support Power BI treasury dashboard development
  • Support Power Automate development

What we are looking for

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years treasury/financial accounting experience with derivatives knowledge
  • IFRS 9 hedge accounting experience - cash flow and fair value hedges
  • Strong Excel/systems skills - experience with ERP systems (D365 preferred)
  • Multi-currency accounting experience in complex group structures

Good to have

  • Treasury Management System experience
  • Python/SQL knowledge for data manipulation
  • Power query, Power Automate, Power BI
  • Experience with intercompany accounting and transfer pricing
  • Big 4 audit experience with financial instruments
  • International group accounting experience
