We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Travel specialist to join our travel agency. The ideal candidate will handle guest inquiries, sell airline tickets, arrange hotel bookings, manage domestic and international tour packages, and assist with visa services. This role requires strong sales skills, travel knowledge, and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend and respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, WhatsApp, and walk-in clients
- Sell airline tickets (domestic & international) using GDS or airline portals
- Handle hotel bookings and confirmations
- Design, promote, and sell domestic and international holiday packages
- Assist customers with visa documentation and application processes
- Provide accurate travel information including fares, schedules, itineraries, and policies
- Follow up with leads and convert inquiries into confirmed bookings
- Maintain customer records and booking details
- Coordinate with airlines, hotels, tour operators, and visa agents
- Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to business growth
- Resolve customer issues professionally and ensure high satisfaction
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in a travel agency or similar role
- Knowledge of airline ticketing, hotel booking systems, and tour packages
- Familiarity with domestic and international travel destinations
- Understanding of visa processes (tourist/business visas preferred)
- Strong communication and sales skills
- Customer-oriented attitude with problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple bookings
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, email, booking portals)
Experience Required
- Minimum 13 years experience in a travel agency (preferred)
- Freshers with travel & tourism certification may also apply
