Travel Sales Executive / Client Associate

The Travel Sales Executive / Client associate will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, understanding their travel needs, and converting leads into confirmed bookings. This role requires strong communication, product knowledge, and the ability to guide customers through trip details, pricing, and planning. The consultant will manage follow-ups, address doubts, provide clear information, and ensure every customer has a smooth, confident booking experience with Dream On Travel through communication strategies. The primary focus is sales conversion, customer relationship building, and maintaining accurate records of all leads and sales activities, and also carry out the bridging with marketing and operations
Key Expectation
The Travel Sales Executive / Client associate will lead Dream On Travel's customer growth efforts, responsible for shaping the communication strategy, driving conversions, and ensuring every potential traveller receives a seamless and engaging experience. This includes overseeing telesales operations, managing direct customer interactions, and optimizing processes that turn interest into bookings.
Role Nature
This is a leadership-focused role, ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, takes initiative, and enjoys blending strategy with action. The Client Associate / Travel consultant will shape sales processes, guide the telesales team, and play a crucial part in scaling Dream On Travel's community and revenue.
Key Responsibilities
This role involves converting potential leads into successful sales by guiding customers, clarifying doubts, and closing bookings efficiently.
Interact directly with customers, developing strong relationship with travellers both before and after booking
Curate sales strategies, response flows and follow-up plans
Collaborate with the marketing team to align promotional campaigns and lead generation efforts.
Track and analyse weekly sales and assign daily tasks for the team
Identify paths and processes to enhance results and conversions
Work with operations and marketing teams to ensure clear and smooth travel plans
Requirements
Graduate in any field (specialisation in marketing, communication, travel preferred)
1-2 years of experience in sales, customer engagement or related field
Proficient in Tamil and English
Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership skills
Ability to strategize, execute, and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
Kindly note, this job requires you to work in Coimbatore and commute to the office regularly. There is no remote or hybrid position available.
Other important things to note
We are considering Coimbatore-based candidates only.
This is a work-from-office position, and a daily commute to the office is required.
Based on the experience and skill level it will scale up from 15,000 to 20,000 per month.
