We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Travel Operations & Sales Executive at Meraki Tours n Travels - Santacruz(e) Kalina - Mumbai, who can handle end-to-end travel requirements from client acquisition and itinerary planning to booking, coordination, and post-sales support. The ideal candidate should be an all-rounder with strong sales skills and operational knowledge of domestic and international travel.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Client Handling
- Handle travel inquiries via calls, emails, and walk-ins
- Convert leads into confirmed bookings
- Understand client requirements and suggest suitable holiday packages
- Achieve monthly sales targets
- Maintain strong client relationships for repeat business
Itinerary Planning & Costing
- Design customized domestic and international travel packages
- Prepare quotations and detailed itineraries
- Negotiate rates with hotels, transport vendors, and DMCs
- Ensure competitive pricing while maintaining profitability
Operations & Coordination
- Handle hotel bookings, flights, ferries, transfers, and sightseeing
- Coordinate with vendors for smooth execution of trips
- Manage booking confirmations and documentation
- Resolve client queries before and during travel
- Ensure seamless on-ground coordination
Documentation & Administration
- Maintain CRM records and booking details
- Process payments and follow up on outstanding balances
- Prepare travel vouchers and invoices
Required Skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Good knowledge of domestic & international destinations
- Ability to multitask and handle pressure
- Proficiency in MS Office and travel booking systems
- Target-driven and customer-focused approach
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate in Travel & Tourism or related field
- Minimum 12 years in travel sales/operations
