Job Description

Plan, coordinate, and manage endtoend transportation and distribution of goods
Own transportation management, including route optimisation, carrier selection, and cost control
Work closely with internal supply chain, warehousing, and supplier teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment
Manage distribution network operations while ensuring compliance with transport regulations and customs norms
Track and analyse key performance metrics such as delivery timelines, costs, accuracy, and customer satisfaction
Handle logistics issues, delivery escalations, supplier coordination, and share performance updates with stakeholders

The Successful Applicant

A successful Transportation Manager should have:

3-7 years of experience in logistics / transportation management, preferably with large organisations or MNCs
Educational background in Engineering or Management from a reputed institute
Strong understanding of endtoend supply chain operations, including warehousing, transportation, and distribution
Working knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA and experience coordinating with transporters, suppliers, and logistics teams
