Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Ensuring End-to-End Transport Coverage:

  • Provide efficient and cost-effective transport services to the client.
  • Ensure each vehicle departs at the exact appointed time.
  • Accurately log vehicle start times and kilometer readings.
  • Verify staff boarding and initial pick-up times are logged correctly.
  • Ensure only rostered employees are picked up and obtain approval for any unlisted staff.
  • Maintain a 24/7 transport helpdesk, handling call logging, queries, and concerns.
  • Monitor and report speeding incidents and other transport-related issues to the Transport Helpdesk.
  • Communicate effectively with the Transport Helpdesk via radio when needed.
  • Complete log books upon arrival at the client's site, excluding excess mileage.
  • Handle morning/evening drops, as well as cab and bus operations.
  • Prepare and optimize routing for cabs and buses.
  • Conduct physical audits of vendor vehicles.
  • Issue parking stickers to employees.

Serving as a Go-Between Among Teams:

  • Support the transport team at the client's facility and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Maintain regular communication with vendor supervisors.
  • Keep an accurate record of important transport-related contact numbers.
  • Prepare work orders and assign unique reference numbers for each transport request.
  • Utilize strong analytical skills to prepare daily, weekly, and monthly transport reports.

Manage the Overall Operations of Transport:

  • Maintain comprehensive transport records and generate reports.
  • Liaise with builders, vendors, and AMC partners, handling all related tasks.
  • Manage transport arrangements for VIP visits.
  • Address and resolve employee transport queries, complaints, and concerns efficiently.
  • Oversee vendor management and invoicing processes.
  • Manage and optimize parking space.
  • Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Facility Manager.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Graduate of any discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in transport management within a BPO setting.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for teamwork and collaboration.
  • Solid background in developing and monitoring improvement programs.
  • Excellent email and report writing skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong drive toward excellence and a focus on getting things done effectively.
