- Scheduling & Planning
- Plan and organize daily transportation routes.
- Assign vehicles and drivers based on availability and requirements.
- Optimize routes to reduce travel time and costs.
- Fleet Management
- Monitor vehicle usage, condition, and maintenance schedules.
- Ensure all vehicles are serviced regularly and comply with safety standards.
- Track fuel usage and maintenance expenses.
- Driver Management
- Coordinate driver schedules, shifts, and duties.
- Ensure drivers follow company policies and traffic regulations.
- Maintain driver attendance, performance, and training records.
- Coordination & Communication
- Act as the main point of contact between drivers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Handle transportation requests from employees or clients.
- Communicate real-time updates (delays, changes, emergencies).
- Logistics & Operations
- Ensure timely pickup and drop-off of passengers or delivery of goods.
- Manage dispatch activities and route tracking (GPS systems).
- Handle last-minute changes in operations efficiently.
- Compliance & Safety
- Ensure adherence to transport regulations and company policies.
- Keep records of licenses, permits, insurance, and vehicle documentation.
- Promote safe driving practices and handle incident reporting.
- Vendor & Cost Management
- Coordinate with transport vendors and service providers.
- Negotiate contracts and monitor vendor performance.
- Control transportation budgets and reduce operational costs.
- Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain daily logs of trips, fuel usage, and delays.
- Prepare reports on transport operations performance.
- Track KPIs like on-time performance, cost efficiency, and complaints.
- Issue Resolution
- Handle escalations such as delays, breakdowns, or complaints.
- Arrange alternative transport in case of emergencies.
- Investigate and resolve service issues quickly.
