Key Responsibilities
- Logistics Scheduling: Plan and optimize routes, vehicle loads, and dispatching to maximize efficiency.
- ** Shipment Tracking:** Monitor inventory movement, tracking shipments from warehouse to final delivery.
- Compliance & Safety:
Ensure all transport operations comply with regulations (e.g., DOT), safety standards, and company policies.
- Issue Resolution: Resolve logistical, technical, or delivery delays (e.g., handling damage claims).
- Communication: Serve as the main point of contact between suppliers, customers, and carriers.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, organized records of transportation activities, including bills of lading, inventory, and driver logs.

Required Skills And Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management, often 2–5+ years.
- Technical Proficiencies: Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), GPS tracking software, and MS Office (especially Excel).
- Soft Skills: Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills to handle high-pressure situations.
- Education: High school diploma is generally required, while a Bachelor's degree in logistics or business is preferred.
