Job Description
Requirement Designing overhead transmission lines, preferably to voltages of at least 345 kV.
PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE Software Experience is mandatory.
CAISSON and PLS-TOWER are optional.
Foundation Design Experience utilizing MFAD and/or L-Pile software.
Guy anchor design, Tubular steel pole and lattice tower design experience.
Detailed drilled pier foundation design, soil anchor design utilizing helical piles
and or grouted anchors.
Develop loading drawings, framing drawings, assembly drawings, plan and profile drawings, etc.
Good knowledge about industry codes and recommendations such as NESC, RUS Bulletin 1724E-200, CA-PUC GO95, and ACSE 10, 48, 74, 91, 104, 123 and 141.
Software PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE (mandatory)
CAISSON and PLS-TOWER (Optional)
Experience 5-12 Years
Industry Electric utilities (Over head transmission)
Additional Effective verbal and written communication skills, Working with American codes and standards
Excellent level of interpersonal skills
Ability to work individually and on a team
Education Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering
VISA B1/B2 or H-1B visa
