Transition and Transformation (T&T) Director Cloud, Infrastructure, and Security

Location: Pune / Hyderabad, India

Qualification: Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Business Administration or equivalent or higher (IT-related qualification preferred but not essential).

Job Type: Full-time

Role: Spearheaded strategic cloud, infrastructure, and security modernization initiatives. This role is responsible for overseeing and driving large-scale transitions and transformations, ensuring successful execution, financial management, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement in cloud, infrastructure, and security programs across India and Overseas.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a strategic vision for transition and transformation initiatives across cloud, infrastructure, and security domains.

Oversee the end-to-end management of IT transitions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory compliance.

Define and implement/enhance governance models, transition frameworks, and risk management strategies for secure and resilient transformations.

Lead cross-functional teams, including cloud architects, cybersecurity experts, engineers, finance, and business stakeholders, to ensure seamless execution of transition and transformation programs.

Manage financial aspects, including budgeting, cost optimization, forecasting, and ROI analysis, ensuring cost-effective solutions.

Ensure compliance with industry standards, security frameworks, regulatory requirements, and cybersecurity best practices.

Drive continuous improvement through performance metrics, analytics, and feedback loops to enhance efficiency and security posture.

Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track program success and provide executive-level reporting.

Collaborate with third-party vendors, partners, and internal teams to enhance service delivery, resilience, and innovation.

Champion change management initiatives to drive stakeholder engagement, security awareness, and program adoption.

Ensure all the infrastructure projects/programs are delivered within the agreed revenue and customer profitability targets and report this respective management.

Key Skills and Competencies:

Strong leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making abilities.

Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), hybrid cloud solutions, IT infrastructure, and cybersecurity frameworks.

Deep knowledge of ITIL, Agile, PMP, and cybersecurity methodologies such as NIST, ISO 27001, and Zero Trust.

Financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, cost control, financial forecasting, and security investment planning.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data for decision-making, risk assessment, and continuous improvement.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience in managing multi-vendor environments, vendor negotiations, and security service providers.

Familiarity with security, compliance, and governance frameworks for cloud, IT infrastructure, and cybersecurity.

Hands-on experience with automation, DevOps, CI/CD processes, and security operations (SecOps).

Required Experience:

20+ years of experience in IT leadership roles, with a focus on transition and transformation within cloud, infrastructure, and security.

Proven track record in leading multi-million-dollar IT transformation programs, including large-scale cloud migrations and cybersecurity initiatives, large transformational deals involving data center migration/consolidation, End-user services transformation etc.

Experience in managing high-availability, mission-critical infrastructure and security programs. Must have Executed cloud, Security and data centre infrastructure projects covering all stacks starting from perimeter network, multi-cloud, Virtualization stack, server stack, office 365, Cloud migration, BCP & DR, DevOps backup & recovery projects

Strong background in risk management, incident response, and compliance-driven transformations.

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science, preferred but not essential.

Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, AWS/Azure Solutions Architect, TOGAF.

Experience working with global enterprises in highly regulated environments along with good knowledge of Cloud, data centre & security infrastructure technologies such as VMware, Checkpoint, F5, Palo Alto, Extreme etc.
