Role Overview Lead the delivery of the global transition strategy across logistics processes, ensuring alignment with defined targets, timelines, and governance standards. This role focuses on executing the transition pipeline through structured methodology, stakeholder engagement, and seamless implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive execution of the transition strategy across logistics domains (Air & Ocean, Ground, Rail, Contract Logistics, Finished Vehicle Logistics).
- Deliver transition pipeline in line with agreed headcount, timeline, and scope targets.
- Conduct structured process design workshops with stakeholders to ensure accurate opportunity assessment.
- Validate scope, volumes, dependencies, and feasibility before transition sign-off.
- Ensure readiness for implementation through robust planning and governance.
- Enforce adherence to the transition framework and methodology across all programs.
- Oversee knowledge transfer, migration planning, and go-live execution.
- Monitor transition progress and ensure timely delivery against milestones.
- Identify and escalate risks, dependencies, and gaps impacting timelines.
- Align stakeholders across global, regional, and local teams to secure approvals.
- Promote increased GBS adoption across logistics processes by leveraging scale and capabilities.
- Optimize utilization of transition resources across pipeline delivery.
- Maintain visibility on pipeline progress and delivery status through structured reporting.
- Guide and support the transition team to ensure consistency in execution and methodology.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline.
- 15+ years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, or GBS environments with strong exposure to transitions, migrations, or process centralization.
- Preferred certifications: Project Management, Lean, Six Sigma.
- Strong knowledge of logistics domains (Air & Ocean, Ground, Contract Logistics, FVL).
- Proven experience across the transition lifecycle: assessment, design, migration, stabilization.
- Skilled in stakeholder management across global and regional teams.
- Ability to conduct structured workshops and validate business requirements.
- Understanding of GBS operating models and process centralization.
- Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools.
