What You'll Do

The Transfer Pricing Analyst will join BCG's in-house transfer pricing team which is part of 40+ person global tax team and a 300+ person broader finance organization. Individual responsibilities will vary depending upon the needs of the broader team but will include delivering against both operational and project responsibilities primarily focused on implementing operational aspects of BCG's transfer pricing methodologies.


BCG's in-house transfer pricing team is composed of 5 professionals spread across the United States, the United Kingdom, Spain and India. The broader Global Tax team is spread across several countries, including an expanding 13 tax professionals team in New Delhi.



What You'll Bring

  • 3-5 years of finance experience in a multi-national organization, with strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and analytical skills. Experience with Transfer Pricing is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with SAP would be ideal.
  • A degree in accounting or finance
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including relaying complex information concisely and effectively
  • The position is located in New Delhi (Gurgaon)

YOU'RE GOOD AT:

This role requires a strong attention to detail and a desire to develop and implement transfer pricing operational process improvements, including:

Calculation of Transfer Pricing methodologies

  • Utilize systems and technology to review calculations of BCG's transfer pricing methodologies
  • Work closely with Global Accounting team to prepare accruals of transfer pricing adjustments and ensure they are booked correctly for quarter-end and year-end closes
  • Produce reporting to assist in analysis by country results and to support year end audit of BCG's U.S. GAAP financial statements
  • Work closely with Finance Systems to update calculation requirements as the business evolves
  • Forecast transfer pricing entries as needed throughout the year to support Partner compensation estimates, cash flow needs, and local tax payments
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support business decision and Tax requirements

Operational transfer pricing

  • Provide analysis and support to Tax and Local Finance during local tax and statutory audits as it pertains to transfer pricing
  • Assist cross-functional teams to implement changes to the Transfer Pricing methodologies based on continuous changes in the business
  • Develop and utilize system (SAP, etc.) expertise to create transfer pricing reporting that will be relied upon by the broader Finance organization
  • Assist with preparation and maintenance of transfer pricing documentation (Master File and Local Files) working closely with Local BCG Finance teams and external advisors
  • Using financial systems and analytical tools to prepare bridge reconciliations between US GAAP and local statutory accounts with Local BCG Finance teams
  • Assist in ad hoc Transfer Pricing projects and/or new initiatives
