Responsibilities

Job Summary

The role focuses on delivering business analytics and insights for national transportation operations, aimed at improving efficiency, cost management, and strategic decision-making. The position requires a strong foundation/understanding in transportation operations, advanced analytical skills, ability to design, develop and implement various financial models and the ability to partner with operational teams to understand requirements and develop impactful reporting and tools.

Job Level Assistant Manager / Manager / Senior Manager (around 8 15 years of experience).

Job Responsibilities

The essential elements of the position include, but are not limited to:

Functional Skills

  • Business Analytics Design & Development of various Financial/Operational data Models for decision making.
  • Functional understanding of transportation processes, operational metrics and industry best practices (e.g. cost-per-mile analysis, lane cost standardization, baseline planning, and empty miles tracking etc).
  • Expertise in statistical analysis, predictive modelling, and machine learning techniques.
  • Develop KPIs and metrics to monitor business performance and operational efficiency
  • Effective written and oral communication.
  • Strong storytelling skills to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify business challenges and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Strong analytical acumen, problem-solving abilities and keen eye for process improvement/automation.
  • Ability to anticipate future analytical needs and design scalable solutions..

Qualifications

System & Tool Proficiency

  • Microsoft Office skills Advanced Excel, Power Point, Access and Outlook].
  • Strong knowledge in Power Query, VBA, Power BI for designing and developing Dashboards/Metrics.
  • Expertise in SQL and Python will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems preferred - People soft, Sales force and Oracle.

Work Timings: Hyderabad: 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM IST and should be willing to work from office (mandatory) with global working window
