Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Functional Training Specialist who can bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world advisory. This role will be responsible for building the functional capabilities of Relationship Managers (RMs), enabling them to effectively prospect, acquire, and manage client portfolios. The individual will play a key role in ensuring regulatory readiness, strengthening advisory excellence, and delivering a high standard of client service within the Indian financial landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver the end-to-end functional learning agenda for RMs
- Build capability frameworks covering prospecting, client acquisition, portfolio construction, and relationship management
- Drive regulatory readiness and ensure 100% compliance with applicable guidelines
- Develop and track impact measurement metrics to assess training effectiveness and business outcomes
- Partner closely with business leaders, product teams, and compliance to align learning interventions with organizational goals
- Leverage digital tools and platforms to enable continuous, on-the-go learning
- Facilitate engaging training sessions tailored for high-performing sales teams
Skills & Attributes
- Strong understanding of wealth management and financial products ecosystem in India
- Ability to translate complex financial concepts into practical, client-facing advisory frameworks
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to engage senior sales professionals
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
- Analytical mindset with focus on measuring training impact and effectiveness
- Tech-savvy with experience in digital learning tools and platforms
- High ownership, adaptability, and execution focus
Qualification & Experience
- Full-time MBA in Finance (mandatory)
- 10-12 years of relevant experience in wealth management, asset management companies (AMCs), NBFCs, private banking, or L&D roles within financial services firms
- Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering functional or advisory training programs
