Job Title: Training and Placement Officer

Department: Training and Placement Cell

Location: Pune, Hadapsar

Salary : 6 LPA + (Incentives) to 10 LPA + (Incentives)

Reports To: HR Manager/Director.

The Training and Placement Officer (TPO) is responsible for developing and implementing the Institute's training and placement programs. This includes building and maintaining relationships with potential employers, organizing campus placement drives, and providing students with career guidance and support. The TPO also works closely with the academic departments to ensure that the curriculum is aligned with the needs of the industry.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement the Institute's training and placement programs.

Build and maintain relationships with potential employers.

Organize campus placement drives and coordinate with recruitment teams.

Provide students with career guidance and support, including resume writing, interview preparation, and job search assistance.

Work closely with the academic departments to ensure that the curriculum is aligned with the needs of the industry.

Track and analyze placement data to identify areas for improvement.

Maintain and update the Institute's database of students and employers.

Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and developments in the placement industry.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field (preferred).

5+ years of experience in training and placement, preferably in an educational institution.

Strong relationship-building and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Knowledge of the latest trends and developments in the placement industry.

Desired Skills and Experience

Experience in organizing and conducting campus placement drives.

Experience in developing and delivering training programs.

Experience in using career counseling tools and resources.

Experience in using student information systems (SIS).

Experience in using social media and other online platforms to promote the Institute and its students to potential employers.

Additional Information

The TPO position is a full-time position.

The TPO will be required to travel to other cities on occasion to attend industry events and meet with potential employers.
