Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Training Manager to design, implement, and lead impactful learning and development initiatives that enhance Retail employee performance, product knowledge, and operational excellence at the International offline brand stores owned and operated by Robust Kommerce in India. The Training Manager will play a critical role in shaping and executing training strategies aligned with the brand business objectives which include leading brands like MANGO NAUTICA & NEXT while fostering continuous learning and professional growth across the Operations teams both inside and outside the stores. This role will be responsible for building a structured Retail learning ecosystem, identifying capability gaps, and delivering scalable training programs with effective use of technology that will drive measurable improvements in store employee productivity, performance, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Training Strategy Development & Execution

Design and implement comprehensive seasonal product training programs by effectively liasoning with brand teams.

Identify training needs through performance analysis, feedback, and business objectives and drive retail KPI's at stores.

Create training materials including manuals, presentations, videos, and e-learning modules through collaboration and with effective use of technology.

Selling skills & Process Training

Deliver training related to consumer approach, selling & grooming skills and operational processes.

Ensure teams stay updated on new product launches, features, and updates.

Collaborate with product and operations teams to ensure accurate training content.

Team Development

Coach employees to improve productivity, performance, and customer experience.

Support managers in developing team capability and leadership skills.

Conduct refresher sessions and skill enhancement workshops.

Training Delivery

Conduct instructor-led training sessions at KEY doors, seasonal workshops, and regular virtual training programs.

Use interactive training methods such as simulations, role-plays, and case studies.

Ensure training programs are engaging and effective.

Performance Evaluation

Track and measure training effectiveness using KPIs and feedback.

Monitor employee performance improvement after training interventions.

Continuously improve training programs based on data and feedback.

Documentation & Compliance

Maintain training records, training calendars, and progress reports.

Ensure training programs comply with company policies and industry standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

MBA / Postgraduate degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or Business Management.

7+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Training, or Organizational Development roles.

Experience designing and implementing leadership development programs and capability-building frameworks.

Experience working in high-growth organizations preferably from Apparel retail industry retail or other consumer facing international brand businesses is preferred.

Certification in Learning & Development / Training Management.
