Job Summary:
As a Tally Trainer at Pratham Education Foundation, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training in Tally Prime and accounting fundamentals to students enrolled in the Tally program. Your role involves preparing learners for employment or self-employment in accounting and finance-related fields. You will design and implement engaging lessons, conduct hands-on sessions in Tally, and ensure students gain strong practical accounting and GST skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver training programs on Tally Prime, Accounting Concepts, GST, TDS, Payroll, and Inventory Management.
- Create lesson plans, course content, and assessments aligned with industry and NSDC/Skill India standards.
- Conduct practical demonstrations and ensure students practice hands-on with Tally software.
- Assess and evaluate student performance regularly, providing feedback and mentoring for improvement.
- Stay updated on the latest Tally features, taxation rules, and accounting practices.
- Collaborate with program coordinators to enhance the curriculum and ensure job readiness.
- Maintain records of attendance, progress reports, and performance metrics.
- Guide students toward internship and placement opportunities with local employers.
- Ensure safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom learning environments.
Qualifications and Skills:
Educational Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent in Commerce stream.
Professional Skills:
- Proficiency in Tally Prime and accounting software.
- Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and basic taxation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students with diverse learning levels.
Experience:
- 13 years of experience in accounting, finance, or training roles.
- Prior teaching or vocational training experience preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic computer operations.
