Role: Trainee – Company Secretary

Location: Bangalore

Duration: 21 Months

What You Will Own

We are seeking a self-motivated and detail-oriented Company Secretary (CS) Trainee to undergo practical training in accordance with the guidelines prescribed by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).

This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in corporate secretarial practices and regulatory compliance, providing exposure to key functions essential for a successful career in corporate governance.

Experience You Should Bring

  • Registered with ICSI and eligible for 21 months of practical training
  • Successfully cleared the Executive Programme.
  • Possess a sound understanding of Company Law and basic corporate compliance.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and drafting skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential.
  • Exhibit strong attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.
  • Show willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Maintain a high level of professional integrity and confidentiality.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Assist in the preparation of notices, agendas, and minutes for Board Meetings, Committee Meetings, and General Meetings.
  • Support statutory filings with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), RBI, and other regulatory authorities.
  • Maintain and update statutory registers, records, and other secretarial documentation.
  • Assist in drafting resolutions, agreements, policies, and various corporate documents.
  • Support compliance management under the Companies Act, RBI guidelines, and other applicable laws.
  • Assist in due diligence processes, as well as internal, statutory, and secretarial audits.
  • Monitor regulatory updates and support the implementation of compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate effectively with internal teams and external consultants.
