As a Trading Services Analyst within JPMorganChase, you will play a pivotal role in the execution and processing of trade orders, ensuring the smooth operation of our trading and portfolio management businesses. Your work will have a significant impact within your team, contributing to the overall performance of our trading services. Your responsibilities span from supporting order execution to settlement, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all trade activities. You will leverage your developing knowledge of market products and automation technologies to optimize our operating platform. Your ability to manage change and drive continuous improvement will be developed in this role, as you work to enhance our processes and systems. With a focus on collaboration, you will build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, while developing your influence and presentation skills to communicate data-driven insights and collaborate in impactful decisions. Job Responsibilities
- Performs reconciliation tasks for Future and Options, Interest rate swaps, Credit default swaps, FX, working with multiple stake holders to resolve breaks, mitigating controls gaps, driving automation
- Perform T+1 Daily reconciliation for global exchanges, nostro reconciliation
- Managing high volume during monthly and quarterly expiry. Managing exchange deadline to ensure all the task are performed within timeline
- Demonstrate a flexible attitude towards working hours due to the demands of the workplace, especially EMEA and North America hours. Strong time management skills required to meet exchange and front office deadlines.
- Participate in various testing related to system enhancement, project implementation, and new business initiatives.
- Drive efficiency in the process and identify control gaps
- Prepare weekly MIS and monthly control packs for Senior Management
- Ensure all issues are investigated and resolved in a timely manner as per Business Standards
Required Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills
- Bachelor's degree or above in Finance/Operations
- Minimum 2 years of experience in in reconciliation team to have good understanding of future and option terminology such as Variation Margin, Open traded equity, Upfront Premium.
- Good understanding of GMI, Clear vision system and the downstream process to help to resolve breaks
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and concisely; adept at process management.
- Must be able to handle a high level of complexity in product coverage, shift gears with relative ease, be flexible enough in shifting workload in accordance with changing priorities, and be comfortable dealing with a stressful and fast-paced Trading environment
- Build and sustain strong working relationships with internal Lines of Business including Middle Office, Front Office, and internal Counterparts
- A strong sense of ownership and responsibility; Excellent Client focus and Customer care working practices
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills
- Comprehensive understanding of financial markets, trading instruments, and the overall trading process, with experience in trading services like order execution, trade processing, and risk monitoring, supported by previous experience in finance industry operations roles.
- Strong relationship-building, influencing, and conflict management skills, with excellent written, oral communication, and interpersonal abilities to resolve issues and maintain positive stakeholder relationships.
- Effective presentation and negotiation skills, combined with an innovative mindset focused on continuous process improvement, and a willingness to be flexible in a team-oriented environment.
- Previous experience in Futures & Options preferred, with familiarity in low code tools such as Alteryx, Xceptor, Tableau, etc.
