ITC Infotech is looking forTrade Marketing Consultant - CPG
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strategy: Engage with global customers to understand & assess business problems areas in Trade Marketing & distribution space for Consumer Product Goods companies (e.g., Foods & Beverage, Tobacco, Personal care etc.)
- Provide expert advice and insights on Trade Marketing & Distribution best practices. Evaluate existing processes and recommend improvements including areas of retail planning, distribution management, category development, trade channel management, route-to-market, last-mile delivery, trade promotionmanagement & optimisation etc.,
- Understanding Data Analytics and AI needs for business decision making for Trade Marketing business objectives.
- Technology Solutioning:Support implementation and adoption of digital transformation solutions across organizational entities and ensure alignment with business strategy and plans.
- Employ transformative technologies like IoT/ Data/ Advanced Analytics/ Predictive Analytics/ Gen AI/Agentic AI/ AR & VR. Define, Design and drive specifications, and SOPs for transformative technologies with relevant inputs from cross functional teams.
- Engage with leading software product providers and analysts to keep abreast of industry trends.
- Capability building and GTM:Build New Capabilities in the space in areas like: (a) Retail media networks; (b) Direct-to-store and data driven distribution; (c) Merchandising planning & management; (d) Trade promotion management & optimization; (e) Revenue growth management;
- Plan and execute GTM's for new capabilities and offerings
Qualifications & Competencies:
- MBA with 10 to 15 years of CPG trade marketing & distribution experience in a consulting or industry role. Degree in supply chain management, Analytics, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Extensive experience in trade marketing & distribution in CPG firms, with a proven track record. In-depth knowledge of trade marketing & distribution principles, practices, and technologies.
- Strong subject matter expertise in'Strategy - Planning – Execution functional cycle in Trade Marketing function.
- Knowledge of multi tier distribution and omni channel customer strategies needed.
- Experience blend of business management and in consulting firms.
- Demonstrated experience as a business manager in CPG industry desirable.
- Strong Client facing skills and should have worked rigorously with Global customers
- Experience leading digital enablement teams for Trade Marketing & Distribution. Ability to interpret business objectives and digital strategy to proactively identify issues and opportunities. Familiarity with applicable Standards.
- Understand technology fundamentals, including architectures, data modelling & development lifecycle.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal skills, & ability to do Market Research in the space.
- Proven collaboration ability across multiple teams, geographies and service lines
