Job Description

Embark on your journey as a Trade Lifecycle Manager II where you'll be instrumental in managing the pre- and post-trading life cycle across all asset classes. Your expertise will ensure seamless trade processing and effective cash coordination, while your strong analytical skills will drive innovative solutions for complex challenges.

As a Trade Lifecycle Manager II within JPMorganChase, you will play a pivotal role in managing the operations of the pre- and post-trading life cycle across all asset classes. Your expertise in trade lifecycle management will be crucial in ensuring all trades are processed on respective platforms, and in coordinating cash movements in and out of client accounts. You will be expected to apply your advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to develop solutions for varied and complex issues, while ensuring compliance with technical standards and organizational policies. Your role will involve liaising with multiple departments, managing projects, and driving process improvements and automation initiatives. You will also be responsible for establishing productive relationships with internal stakeholders, presenting to senior management, and managing change effectively. Your ability to influence, coupled with your market product knowledge and data & tech literacy, will be key to your success in this role.

Job responsibilities
  • Oversee the preparation and management of funding for managed demand deposit accounts (DDA's), ensuring proper allocation of wires to client/funding accounts within the appropriate threshold.
  • Conduct comprehensive reconciliation of ledgers using various systems and tools, identifying and addressing any discrepancies promptly.
  • Collaborate with other lines of business to facilitate proper funding, ensuring seamless coordination and communication.
  • Contribute to end-to-end process and operating model reviews, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
  • Ensure proper controls are in place to mitigate financial risks, proactively identifying and addressing any gaps.
  • Execute high-volume and critical payment processing tasks, one of which is validating global currency fund transfers to ensure accurate and timely transactions, following established procedures.
  • Process payments for FX & FXO products and verification, performing detailed and analytical research, reviewing exceptions, fund controls, and client investigation.
  • Identify, resolve, or escalate either procedural issues or operational errors that may arise during the processing of payments & maintain the highest level of standards to mitigate risk.
  • Coach, train, or mentor team members to deliver to our high service standards for productivity, quality, and customer experience.
  • Interface with other operations departments to research and resolve inquiries, such as escalated matters.
  • Learn and apply skills in innovation, market product knowledge, and artificial intelligence to identify opportunities to improve and optimize payment lifecycle processes.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Minimum 8 years of solid settlements experience, specifically across FX, Derivatives or Payments Operations.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using automation technologies to optimize trade lifecycle operations and implement process improvements.
  • Advanced knowledge of market product definitions, operating procedures, and industry regulations, with the ability to apply this knowledge in day-to-day operations.
  • Proven ability to manage projects effectively, with experience in leading cross-functional teams and delivering results within set timelines.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, with experience in using various systems and tools for ledger reconciliation and discrepancy resolution.
  • Flexibility to work global hours and having the willingness to travel on short notice, during emergencies, team gatherings, etc.
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to solve problems, influence outcomes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in payment processing
