The Trade Finance Operations role is responsible for managing and executing trade finance transactions, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing exceptional service to clients. This position requires extensive experience in trade finance operations and a deep understanding of financial products and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee trade finance operations including letters of credit, guarantees, and documentary collections.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to trade finance transactions.
• Collaborate with clients and financial institutions to facilitate trade transactions and resolve any issues that arise.
• Perform risk assessments and credit analysis on trade finance applications.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of trade finance transactions and ensure proper documentation is in place.
• Provide training and support to junior staff members in trade finance processes and procedures.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 15-22 years of experience in trade finance operations or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of trade finance products and services.
• Proficiency in financial analysis and risk assessment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance issues in trade finance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
