Tower InCharge (Manager) HighRise Residential Buildings

Job Summary

Responsible for endtoend execution, coordination, and delivery of a specific residential tower within the project. Leads all civil, structural, finishing, and MEP activities in the tower to ensure timely completion, quality compliance, and resource optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Tower Execution & Delivery
  • Lead overall execution of the assigned highrise tower from foundation to handover.
  • Ensure all works (structural + finishing + MEP) follow project schedules, drawings, and specifications.
  • Monitor daily site progress and ensure timely achievement of floor cycles and finishing milestones.
  • Planning, Scheduling & Resource Management
  • Prepare microschedules (daily/weekly) for tower activities and align with the master schedule.
  • Ensure availability and mobilization of materials, manpower, shuttering, rebar, equipment, and subcontract resources.
  • Coordinate with planning, QS, procurement, and site logistics teams for smooth operations.
  • Team Leadership & Coordination
  • Lead and manage tower engineers, supervisors, foremen, subcontractors, and labor teams.
  • Coordinate with structural, MEP, finishing, QA/QC, and safety teams to ensure clashfree execution.
  • Conduct daily review meetings and resolve bottlenecks at site.
  • Quality & Compliance
  • Ensure strict adherence to quality standards, IS codes, and approved drawings.
  • Verify quality of structural works (formwork, reinforcement, concreting) and finishing works.
  • Ensure QA/QC inspections, checklists, and consultant/client approvals are completed on time.
  • Safety Management
  • Ensure compliance with safety norms for working at height, scaffolding, machinery, and hot works.
  • Conduct safety toolbox talks and enforce PPE usage.
  • Coordinate with the EHS team to eliminate unsafe practices.
  • Material Control & Cost Monitoring
  • Monitor material consumption for concrete, reinforcement, shuttering, blocks, plastering, tiles, paint, and other finishing materials.
  • Identify and minimize wastage; ensure reconciliation of tower materials with stores and QS teams.
  • Support cost control by ensuring efficient deployment of resources.
  • Client/Consultant Interaction
  • Attend site inspections, technical meetings, and walkthroughs.
  • Address client/consultant observations and ensure timely closure of snags.
  • Ensure quality and progress align with client expectations.
  • Documentation & Reporting
  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly progress reports, manpower reports, and tower status updates.
  • Maintain documentation for inspections, concrete pours, quality checks, and material records.
  • Provide timely updates to the Project Manager/Construction Head.

Qualifications & Skills

  • B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (preferred).
  • 1018 years of experience in highrise residential tower execution.
  • Strong knowledge of structural works, finishing works, and MEP coordination.
  • Proven ability to handle full tower execution independently.
  • Excellent leadership, coordination, problemsolving, and communication skills.
