Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated Tool Design Engineer with 6+ years of experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will assist in the design and development of manufacturing tools and fixtures, supporting production and quality improvement efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Design of jigs, fixtures, pallets, lifting tools, and Locators using CAD software (Creo).
- Create 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings with appropriate GD&T.
- Modify and revise designs based on feedback and engineering changes.
- Ensure compliance with safety, ergonomic, and standard engineering practices.
- Assist in maintaining project timelines and documentation.
Work Experience
Required Skills:
- Good knowledge in Creo tool
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, welding, assembly).
- Basic knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawing standards.
- Familiarity with material selection for tooling applications.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- 6 years of experience in tool design or a similar mechanical design role.
