Role Overview
An LLM Developer is responsible for leveraging the power of Large Language Models to build standalone applications on Google infrastructure. This role requires a strong understanding of LLMs and their capabilities, as well as the ability to design, develop, and deploy applications that utilize these technologies.
Responsibilities
- Utilize Gemini APIs to build innovative applications
- Design and develop standalone applications on Google infrastructure
- Integrate LLMs into existing applications and systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and address business problems
- Scope and structure problems before solving them
- Translate business problems into technical solutions
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience (10+ years preferred)
- Proficiency in using Gemini APIs
- Experience in building standalone applications on Google infrastructure
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
- Strong written, verbal, and documentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to rapidly upskill
- Experience in the full lifecycle of problem-solving (Business Problem Technical Problem Technical Solution Business Solution Deployment)
- Ability to take sound product decisions
- Experience in cross-functional work with engineering managers, product managers, program managers, and policy/legal
